“To East, Heading West" is a three-part work that uses three elements in Classical Element - "wind", "water" and "fire" - in the monologue and production he produced, the understanding of "death" and the story of two deaths of close relatives were slowly unfolded. In the context triggered by different elements, "death" and its events are described as a persistent hallucination, a group event, and a twin that is entangled and symbiotic with "life".
The film is interspersed with the act of burning photo frames and the document of moving two chairs performed by Lingrui Feng, who hopes to drag the audience deeper into his narrative. In his performance, he threw himself into a continuous storm of "life", "death" and "love". This work is his echo from the sky.
